Threads Across Waters

Threads across Waters was part of an ekphrastic collaboration with the Indian born poet Usha Kishore. Usha and I share a fascination for myth, particularly in the exploration of female mythical figures and in a feminist interpretation of myth. We are both pre-occupied with cross-cultural aspects of myth, involving mythical characters and their transcultural avatars, whether Indian, Celtic, Norse, GraecoRoman or Chinese.
